Nasi beriani

 
 
 
week end baru ni balik kampung berbuka bersama saudara mara, so I cooked nasi beriani from rossyabakes.fotopages.com, thank you rossya for the recipe
more important - alhamdulillah menjadi and semua orang kata sedap - bersemangat nak masak lagi insyaAllah.
notes:
I soaked the basmati rice for about 30 mins - for the reason given in one of the recipe books consulted that says: soaking the rice in advance will let the rice to absorb as much water as possible thus preventing the rice from 'patah' when cooked
Instead of cooking separate rice and lauk, I layered the lauk, rice, lauk and rice into one big pot and let it cook in the oven.

More important to me was the smiles from the adik beradik (sedara mare) after makan tu, semoga diberkati dan mendapat rahmah menjamu di bulan ramadhan, insyaAllah
