We had a simple yet memorable birthday celebration for Ammar's birthday - semoga diberkati Allah- ameen
Afif was the MC, followed by jiji's presentation, then kumpulan Fifa's (lead by Afif) birthday wishes and fnally 2 pantun from kumpulan Fila (lead by Alif) read out by Munzir. Speeches were given by abah, tok, mak yang and hafiz. Semua mendoakan Ammar menjadi anak soleh. The majlis end with doa read by Aiman.

Ammar was born at 1.30 tengah hari just as the Muezzin called Azan for Friday prayer on the 9th of June 1995. Today Ammar is 11 years old - semoga menjadi anak yang soleh

Anfaal has always loved animals, tak sangka pula sibuk dok study sempat pula ambil ádopted'cats: Cleo "Scott Tiger" and "Danish" Patra...and this entry is by Anfaal especially for her adorable cats...
Anfaal says: These kittens were adopted the day their mother chucked them in our house and left without a trace...2 weeks later she came back la..after we kantoikan her dating with a blonde guy-cat in somebody else's block...anyhow, becoz of her prettiness, we named the mother "Milfy"...Cleo is like a tiger..very garang and cunning...especially wen she spies on my roomate's hamster...while Patra is very manja..she can fall asleep anytime, anywhere (usually on someone's lap)..Cleo is prettier in real life, compared to Patra...while Patra is more photogenic than Cleo...they're now at my friend Anis's house...because there would be no one to take care of them here in Penang...i miss them~~~~~~~~~~~~ uwaaaaa~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not much of a gardener, I had an unexpected and pleasant welcome home surprise from my garden... Alhamdulillah, all praise be to Allah.

What do you do when you feel sadness so deep it hurts?
....You shed a tear or two...
I must confess I did just that as the plane left Columbus to Detroit –Tokyo-Singapore –Penang. With that feeling is the realization that the friendship that has developed over the last six months is here to be cherished and the feeling of gratefulness to Allah Swt for bringing our hearts together. I must confess that deep in my heart I realized that I have left part of it here. No word would ever suffice to describe it except to reflect on the best of the best words – a prayer from Al Quran:
Our Lord! Let not our hearts deviate from the truth after You have guided us, and bestow upon us mercy from Your grace. Verily You are the Giver of bounties without measure. ( 3: 8 )
What do you do when you feel happiness so profound you wanted to jump with joy or burst singing a song?
You shed a tear or two still.
I must confess again that this is what I did as we touched down in Penang International Airport, Penang. I marvel at the realization that all this while a part of me has been left here in Penang.
And how do you handle the two extreme feelings nagging in your heart?
Between the sadness and happiness is a tranquil equilibrium – the realization that a human heart is able to endure these two extremes. For, fortunately, in this equation with extremes, there exist some constants that prove a resource of strengths. The constants would take the form of ones family and friends. Any one of us can only pass through this way once, however much we wish, there might not be second time.
"I shall pass this way but once.
Therefore if there is any good that I can do
Or kindness I can show to any living being,
Let me do it now.
Let me not defer or neglect it,
For I shall not pass this way again."
And you want the happiness to last forever, not only here but hereafter, for our life here is just a mere microsecond as to the life hereafter.
Our Lord! Grant us good in this world and good in the life to come and keep us safe from the torment of the Fire. (2:201)
